esotherics? no; mind! esotherics? no; mind!
i think the term “third eye” refers to an emancipated mind that inspects it’s surroundings.
seeing “more than catches the eye”, feeling, perceiving.
some examples that lead me to this belief: focus on peoples gestures, their eyes, how they cross their feet when sitting. people communicate through so much more than just words.
or just note the difference between people from different cities. if you aware of those things you can “read people’s minds” and use that to your own advantage.
and even if people aren’t consciously aware of “little disturbances”. eg holding cigarettes in a certain way as political statement (compare how people from scotland and austria smoke. then see how austrian punks hold cigarettes…), they somehow feel it. this way you can communicate to them without them really being aware of it.
this is quite manipulative and some might be offended by it. but i believe that it can’t be bad if you use it to show people good ways.
one prime example of “seeing the big picture”: i recently started studying graphics design at the academy of applied arts in vienna. i’ve always seen a lot of pigeons and the occasional raven. but near the academy of applied arts you almost only see ravens. drawing parallels to the mindset of people at the academy i guess similar souls attract each other.
so… after deciphering (for me) the question of “the third eye”, i’ll see more into “what if the devil is a fallen angel that forgot what it’s capable of?”. but the question itself could be wrong too.
living a curious life is grand! and easy: just don’t take anything for granted. (:
